Until about three weeks ago, when “College” became a part of my everyday life. The idea to unlock better future opportunities led me to start a new journey at college. At the age of seventeen, I was offered a position as a cashier at Sears for about 5 months, earning a minimum wage. Throughout that time, I attained many skills; from management to customer service skills. Although, it was a great experience working for the first time, I wanted something better for the rest of my life. At this point I thought to myself; “Why am I going to college? What am I going to get out of it?” then I answer myself, “if I do not go to college I most likely won’t have the knowledge of economic success that I dream of, making more money in a short period of time”. If I go to college and graduate from college, I will have higher chances of employment wherever I go and the opportunity to keep my position at
