Am I Attending College

Decent Essays
Within my community, no one has graduated from college since they usually follow the wrong path. Being surround by drug dealers, alcoholics, and gang members has motivated me to follow a different path. A path that will guarantee success in my future. In fact, the reason why I’m planning on attending college is so that I can get a career that will offer me a decent job. I want a better future for myself; I do not want to end up like the people who surround my community since they basically fell into the wrong addictions because of financial needs. I do not want that to become an obstacle throughout my future. Therefore, I'm planning to attend college to have a better future.
