Altruism, based on the movie, is the practicing of disinterested and selfless concern for well being of others.
It’s important to at least try to make a difference. Even though it’s great to know if you did, not all the time, does it actually work.
It’s easier because you can think of more ways than one to help someone that does bad deeds than those who do good deeds.
Pay it forward means to do something good for someone who may no really deserve it. Pay back means to do something good for someone who has already done good for you. The difference is mainly guilt. If you pay it forward there was no guilt to begin with, but if you’re paying back, you feel guilty because someone helped you.
