Chips are a favorite snack or side dish for many people. There are several brands of chips in the grocery store. You can find chips not only at the grocery store, but even at the local subway as a side dish for your sandwich, and at barbeques as a side dish. Some people even eat chips at the movies. Chips have found their way into our hearts and groceries since they were first invented. But chips are fully of carbs. They are loaded with carbs, fat, and sodium. So instead of eating chips, we should try some of these alternatives that make the Keto diet that much better. So what alternative can you use for hash browns when on the Keto diet? We have found that spaghetti squash is a great alternative. What about rice or potato salad? These are tow staples in just about every cook out or dinner meal. Most people are surprised to find that cauliflower is a great alternative to so many things, one of them being rice and the other cauliflower.
CAULIFLOWER RICE
Cauliflower rice is another use of cauliflower that we have not discussed so far. By placing cauliflower in a food processor, you can pulse it to make turn to rice size pieces. As mentioned above cauliflower is a great alternative for traditional rice and potatoes when looking for a low carb option.
CAULIFLOWER CHUNK SALAD
Instead of using potatoes for potato salad, we can use chunks of cauliflower instead. Cauliflower chunks have less carbs than potatoes and have such a clean flavor. Using cauliflower as an alternative to potatoes is a great way to follow the Keto diet.
SQUASH HASH BROWNS
Hash browns are a great side dish however, they are loaded with carbs. So instead of using shredded potatoes, try spaghetti squash as a Keto alternative that is low in carbs. They are also great as noodles, as mentioned above.
