Renewable energy is created from the earth and it never runs out because it mostly comes from the suns energy so it is constantly replenished. The most common forms of alternative resources that we use today include nuclear energy, hydro energy, wind energy and hydroelectric energy. Alternative resources is termed to configure the differences between fossil fuels and how they contribute to society. These forms of energy are not traditional forms from which you get out of fossil fuels, but they prove to be cleaner and much safer for our environment.

Renewable energy sources create energy in many different forms and ways. For example, the way that hydroelectricity is created can be compared to the way a coal-fueled power plant works. This energy source is produced when a power source turns a turbine. When this happens it cause the turbine to act as generator, which then creates electricity.

Another source of renewable energy is wind energy. This is created by the use of wind turbines, which creates electricity. This process is conducted by the wind turning the turbines blades, which ultimately spins a shaft that is connected to a generator and it creates electricity. As stated in an article on energy.gov, “wind is a form of solar energy and is a result in the uneven heating of the atmosphere by the sun, the irregularities of the earths surface, and the rotation of the earth” (US Department of Energy). The same article also describes the process of wind energy and how…
