Insurance plays a vital role in the treatment that the patients receive. Insurance policies are highly important, as one who cannot afford the coverage from insurance companies may not be able to afford treatments that they would have to pay out of their pocket for. Insurance can be very broad with what it covers, but that doesn 't mean it will cover everything. Since alternative medicine is more like diets rather than drugs it allows the patient to have sometimes more control over the treatment and not have to worry about the side effects of standard medical drugs.
