Are Alternate Energy Sources Capable of Alleviating Fossil Fuel Dependencies?
The dependency on fossil fuels has turned into a global economic issue. Nearly everything a consumer purchases one way or another the cost of that product has been impacted by fossil fuels and its by-products (e.g. crude oil, coal, diesel oil, kerosine, gasoline, and plastics). Alternative energy sources (e.g., biomass, bio-fuel, geothermal energy, natural gases, hydrogen fuel, hydro-electric power, nuclear power, wind, solar energy, and tidal currents) are not only able to reduce the impact fossil fuels have on everything but reduce the dependency of fossil fuels. In the proper combination the use of alternative energy sources should be considered a viable solution to alleviate the dependency on fossil fuels.

While they are constantly being redesigned and re-engineered to be more efficient the basics are still the same and that is to harness, as in the cases of wind, geothermal, solar, and hydro, free and renewable sources of energy. If the military are able power their facilities and the troops deployed in remote areas are able power their equipment for substantially longer periods of time why is it that as a country with location of great electricity generation there are not more uses of that potential being used. By developing and constructing facilities in greater numbers to harness the free and renewable sources of energy this world is giving out, lessens the hold and dependency of fossils fuels. Lessening the hold and dependency of fossils fuels alleviates some of the financial strain and demand on consumers which in turn return will provide more funds for more development and
