Being that there are only 9 Domain Officers that CSS HQ does FITREPs for, the Primary FITREP Manager handles them nearly 100% of the time. In her absence I absolutely assist with FITREPs, but that need rarely arises. Standing by, at the ready, as always!

As the Domain NFAAS Coordinator, I have flawlessly conducted two semi-annual information verification taskers. 100% accountability of the Domain’s staff, students, and dependents was completed ahead of the deadline. Keeping in consistent communication with the NFAAS Coordinator’s at our Learning Sites is a key component of the success of each verification period. The tracker I devised is a fundamental tool I constantly utilize to track the Domain’s progress while the verifications are in progress. There was one

In her absence, I processed the updates/revisions to 14 CSS directives (instructions, notices, and memoranda). Upon taking on this responsibility, I had to reorganize some discrepancies found in the directives tracker. Once complete, I could continue to route the directives due for updates. As there were already several directives in the routing process when I tentatively took over this program, I ensured they were completed timely and distributed per guidance. This is a multi-step process, of which I ensure is done in its entirety every time! Maintaining up-to-date directives files is imperative to the running of a smooth administrative office. I always did my best to route directives to the Administrative Officer with as few errors as possible. Updating directives is probably one of the major collaborative tasks that the Admin Department does. The success of directives management is certainly due to great

My main focus for this week was to follow-up on projects that I was previously assigned and to update the management team on my progress. I was able to follow-up with all of the remaining sites as far as their stand still with the I-9 project. While taking on this project I have noticed that a lot of sites face the same issue, which is inconsistencies within their documentation/data. This is strange due to the fact that audits have taken place. This goes to show that there is room for error even when there are audits being done.…

This morning I met with Ms. Smith and reviewed the status of continuity binder project and its usefulness in reducing communication and process failures. After receiving some of her personal feedback and feedback of other staff members there are a few more areas of the binder that require tweaking but the binder should be completed by next week (Goal 4). This is a rebuttal to the nonrec I received last Tuesday. The nonrec states that I do not meet my OIC's physical fitness standards in order to be promoted. It does not exactly state it, but I know that he is referring to my 2nd class PFT. His "standard" for promotion as stated by the corporals a couple weeks ago while passing word was that anyone that does not have a 1st class PFT or fails the rifle range will not be looked at for promotion. Although, this standard is now easily achievable for me, it was not the standard for recommendation when I ran my PFT back in April.…

Evidence for Pressure Injury Prevention Nursing is no longer just about providing care at the bedside. The nurse is challenged to provide the best patient care possible. This elevated level of care can be achieved by implementing the use of evidence-based practice (EBP). EBP can be defined as the use of recent research, combined with nursing experience, and patient standards (LoBiondo-Wood & Haber, 2014). In this paper, I will discuss a change in policy my hospital recently implemented, why the practice change was instituted, the research process for decision making, along with the steps used to implement the new policy.…

Fitness and Goal Setting Knowledge Fitness and goal setting have been the main topic of conversation in this class. Whether we need to work on legs or arms today, or what we are going to do in the future. I learned that it is better to do quantity over quality when it comes to fitness workouts, and that it is always important to stretch and warm up your muscles before a workout to ensure you do not strain any muscles. For goal setting, I learned that if you pick a specific goal that you wish to achieve, like say to reach +10 in the fitness flexibility test, you can keep working towards that goal step by step, or in this case number by number, to reach your goals efficiently. When reaching towards a goal, you cannot just make it in one try…
