Nothing is considered “too minor” when it comes to talking about humanity, therefore every small detail plays a vital role. Whether it be the “glossy street sign or gnarled oak tree, the glaring traffic signals… each sparkling piece of jewelery… political posters in the metro station, every abandoned tractor in the fields… and gawking tourists, they are all part of a text” (Crickenberger par 2). People continue to just treat all of earth’s possessions as if they are just there to take up space.
