Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Incorporated (AKPsi) is an organization that provides leadership development, personal and professional training, and the opportunity to meet fellow members worldwide. I joined because I wanted to learn more about the business aspect and how to apply the skills to my future goals. During one of our largest fundraiser events, The Date Auction, I was one of the co-coordinators in planning and executing the event. At the conclusion of the event all the proceedings were split to help 2 causes: the medical expenses of a little boy who suffered from Neuroblastoma Cancer and for a scholarship in memory of a member of the Pi Chapter who passed
