First and foremost, is my incredible family who is my greatest inspiration in life. I know the pledge process was difficult for them as well, not seeing me as much, but they were by far my biggest supporters. The same goes for my friends. Next, I would like to thank all of membership for their kindness, openness, and commitment to the values of the fraternity. I look forward to getting to know each member better. Thank-you to Natalie Gaynier for being a great master of rituals and being so helpful when making up quizzes. I am beyond grateful to Lindsey Shepherd and Patrick Northcraft, Vice Presidents of Membership. I appreciate them giving their time and resources for the success of the pledge class. Finally, Thank-you to my amazing big, Morgan Siegler, and twin, Sierah Shaffer-Joughin, for being my support system. Without them I am not sure if the pledge process would have been as smooth and enjoyable as it

Furthermore, I have applied myself outside of the classroom by working for the DePaul Bookstore for two years, Umpiring for two years at Live to Support Chicago, as well as two internships at Live to Support Chicago and PepsiCo. All of these ventures have been made possible by the multitude of skills I have learned as being a member of Sigma Chi. Sigma Chi has allowed/forced me to improve my public speaking skills, leadership skills, as well as working with an array of different personalities. While these are all skills I am always looking to improve, because as we all know we are always looking for the White Cross, I know that I am directly able to my ‘successes’ as a direct result of the help I have received from Sigma Chi these past 3 ½…
