Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Analysis

In the year 1908, the first African descent, Greek sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., was founded on the campus of Howard University on five main objectives that are all still upheld 110 years later. The first premise being to advocate and elevate educational and moral ideals. The second, to unify all college women by establishing a sisterhood. The third, to examine and alleviate all females of any problems that have impeded their growth and elevation in society. The fourth, to promote the continuing yearn of college being. And the last, but certainly not least, to be a service to all mankind, regardless of race, gender, age, or sexual preference.
