The Kathryn “Kathie” Horslund Beeken Beta Zeta Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by the benefactor nearly 30 years before her passing. Kathie created this scholarship as a tribute to her deep appreciation and love for the Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity and its ideals. Kathie was initiated by Beta Zeta Chapter in 1947, and was a proud member of alumnae chapters in Pennsylvania and later, Florida.
