I constructed a project based off of my test results showing, with color and symbols the results I received on my tests.

My ethics/values from the Alligator River Story were peace and loyalty. I chose to represent peace in my project, with a peace sign and loyalty by using paper chains. The chains symbolize loyalty to me, because the chains create a secure connection.

The Okefenokee Swamp is an interesting place to learn about regardless of how it is described in both passages. The writers differ extraordinarily in their style of writing about the swamp and in their description of the swamp. In the two written passages, there are two detailed descriptions of Okefenokee Swamp. Both seem to be factual; however, one author is informing the audience with facts about the Swamp, while the other is entertaining them by using figurative language to describe the swamp.…

The first tip to avoiding an alligator attack is to avoid the animal’s territory. This may seem obvious, but it is surprising how many people ignore clear signs of alligators such as: nests, eggs, or even adult alligators. If, by happenstance, a person falls into a body of water containing the carnivores, remain calm. If he or she begins to thrash in the water, the splashing will attract the alligators toward them. While the animals tend to avoid larger prey, they may attempt to grab a limb from a struggling person.…
