Allie's Hope Is More Talkative Than Hope

Improved Essays
I have two good friends that I love dearly, but they are so different in many ways. Somehow we still all manage to get along and love each other. Although Allie is energetic, talkative, and easy going, my other friend Hope is more conservative, tough, and less talkative. Unlike Hope, Allie is very energetic. She has to stay busy and entertained at all times. Sometimes she moves around so much that it gives me a headache. In contrast, Hope is more settled and doesn’t like to do a lot. She will chose to stay at home instead of going to a party. Allie would chose going out instead of staying at home and chilling. If we don’t want to do anything and she does she will get upset if things didn’t go her way. I wonder if she ever gets tired and just want to shut down, but she probably doesn’t. I feel like nobody should have that much energy in the world. …show more content…
Allie can talk for hours about stuff that doesn’t matter. When she gets in the car with me, sometimes she doesn’t even say hello, she just goes straight into a full conversation about her day. When I’m driving I like to focus and listen to music, but I can’t do that when Allie is running her mouth the whole time. It drove me so crazy one time, that I almost put her out the car, but I didn’t want to be mean. However riding with Hope is different. She doesn’t talk my ear off. She actually turns up and have fun with me in the car. Allie can be fun to ride with if she only didn’t talk so

Steel Magnolias is my favorite movie. This movie reflects the daily lives of six southern women with different personalities and careers. Being a southern girl I could see myself in one of the characters. They laughed together, cried together and even made jokes about one another but as friends they always made the best out of all obstacles that crossed them rather it was a happy occasion or tragic.…

From traveling the world together to settling down and having children, no matter how much you connect to someone on a personal level or enjoy doing the same things, if you don’t have similar goals for life, it will most definitely be a challenge to make a relationship work with that person. For example, John wants “…a mortgage-free farm; then a new house and pretty clothes for [Ann]… [and] to him it only seemed right that he…should slave away fifteen hours a day to give them to her. ”(Ross 229). While Ann, “…she wanted…something of John, not pretty clothes when she would be too old to wear them.…
