Allergen Management Plan For Avocados

Dear Customer, Index Fresh is committed to food safety and has implemented protocols and monitoring programs based on our fresh avocado packing operation. The purpose of our Allergen Management program is to ensure our products are sound, thereby reducing the risk of processing, storing or shipping unsafe products. Our Allergen Management plan is complemented with the use of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and strict SOPs.
Since we only pack fresh whole avocados we do not have any of the major allergens listed by the FDA encompassing: soy, milk, fish, shellfish (crustacean), wheat, peanuts and tree nuts. None of which are processed within our operations.
