Allegiant, by Veronica Roth, is a decent book. It has an interesting plot with many twists and turns. The switching of viewpoints is confusing, but I realize it is a necessary literary device since at the end of the book, the main character dies. I felt devastated that an action I had played a part in had killed Uriah. I only meant to do what was morally right that day. I was in the dark as to the plan’s true intent. I felt betrayed and felt that my life had no meaning. It was as if my life had meant nothing to the world.
