All Summer in a Day Theme

In All Summer in a Day by Ray Bradbury, shows that jealousy is an important theme in the story. There are lots of other themes like bullying. But jealousy is the most important theme in the book.

Margot came to venus from earth when she was four and remembered the sun. The sun only comes out every seven years and so all the kids were jealous of her because she remembered the sun. Some evidence that supports this is william was so jealous of margot that him and some other kids grabbed her, through and locked her in a closet while the sun came out for two hours. They did that because they were jealous of Margot Altho some might argue that bullying is the best theme. In the story william acts like a bully by talking

“All Summer in a Day” by Ray Bradbury, is a science fiction short story. Bradbury included a one of a kind setting, superior characterization, and an ending that allowed readers to create their own, using their imagination. The setting was unique and I would have never thought of an imaginable place like Venus. Margot is a shy and frail young girl and we notice this when Bradbury describes that she is an “old photograph” and talks like a “ghost.” Over the years, good short stories and novels have been transitioned into movie adaptation.…

Stories like "There Will Come Soft Rains" and even games such as the Fallout series present their own ideas on what the world will be like after it has been engulfed in nuclear fire.
