In the two stories, “All Summer in a Day” and “If Only We Had Taller Been” by Ray Bradbury we learn that wanting something desperately can make you act differently than you're accustomed to. These actions can be either negatively or positively. These stories have many similarities and differences. One theme that both stories have in common is to never stop believing because dreams do come true.
In the story All Summer in a Day, the characters act negatively because they were chasing something they never experienced. The author uses descriptive language to build the theme that when you desperately want something it can make you act differently than you normally do.
