The chorus encourages the listener to “get your game on, go play” or to “get the show on, get paid”. This can be interpreted as the singer telling his audience to find what they’re good at. Once they’ve done that they need to being working at it, hoping to reap the benefits of their dedication. It implies that in order to make a difference and to break out of your expectations that you need to be a shooting star, or be amazing at what you’ve chosen to do. When put together, both lines complement each other, the entire message being that you should see things in a positive light and that you have the potential to make your mark in the world. The entire chorus put together is rather inspirational, as if the singer has put his faith in his listener that they are capable of great things in their life as long as they choose to apply themselves. Even if the listener identifies with the singer in the sense that they think they are rather unremarkable, they still have the faith put in them that they will amount to something
