“Black Lives Matter VS All Lives Matter” “Righteous indignation calls sin what it is. Bigotry is sin. Racism is sin. Oppression is sin. Control by fear is sin. Violence is sin. The quicker we can all admit that, the quicker the healing will begin.” (Andrena Sawyer). The Movement of Black Lives Matters was created in response to the tragic deaths of Trayvon Martin in 2012 and Michael Brown in 2014; both were shot by Police Officers (Graff2015). Because of the Black Lives Matter operation, it has come in the form of the announcement that “All Lives Matter” response. Also it was started to fight against racism that it is existing in society these days. In fact, between June 2005 and June 2008, eighty five percentage of the stop-and-frisks were just on African American while eight percentage on white race (Graff 2015). With each new movement criticizer always acted to works against them and tries to stop the movement. The All Lives Matter response was one of them. Most critics believed that Black Lives Matter movement is racism because it is not include “All Lives”. Saying “Black Lives Matter” does not mean it is against other races, or ignores others. Those human who believe that they are different or better from others; who also believe others not supposed to live equally with them. They need to a series change. It is started first with Civil Right Movement and now with Black Lives Matter movement. “Black Lives Matter” needs to carry on growing as a social media movement. This movement should concentrate on getting support and educating their communities about colorblind intolerance. Black race does matter, Black lives is important and it will take a major shift in the general public. People need to believe that they matter in order to change the criminal
