Fiction is a source of being untrue and you are able to paint a picture. But see with fiction it allows you to explore multiple viewpoints of life. That something reality doesn't petray to us humans. So us being morals we are attracted to the idea of having the ability to perform multiple identities and fabricating choices we wish to assemble in reality. In which fiction demonstrates this for the human possibility. The district wants to stop us students of this society to no longer read fiction because of common core. So my question to the district is do they really know the effects it will bring upon us scholars? We need fiction in our curriculum because it helps some of us students make connections with the book, and with that it makes

Social issue I connected with in “All American Boys” racism. Rasim is performing things upon one with an ill intent. A form of this most people remember was the time period of the holocaust and slavery towards the south. In most cases tend to turn the blind eye when it comes racism because they don't wanna be attacked too. As shown at cnn.com 49% of america has a problem with racism today. On page 91 in the book clerk said “yeah he was trying to steal those chips” and Rashod replying with “He was accusing me of things that hadn't even happened”. The purpose of this quote is letting us know that the clerk was performing racism upon rashond just because of his skin color and the stereotypes behind being black. Also the cop had no other choice but to believe the clerk because they would have never believed a black man. This example helped to prove my thesis correct because people are allowing themselves to connect to a time period that they have seen a situation like this, and then the reader can relate to it. On page 22 rashod said “but before i could even get my fingers on the money, the cop had me knotted up in a submission hold, my arms twisted behind me, pain searing up to my shoulders.
