I’m Alishba Rizvi, serving as a young cultural ambassador of Pakistan in the United States of America. From the time I stepped in Tacoma, Washington I can see myself transforming into a better individual. Living away from home, on the other side of the world, has impacted me in ways that will stick with me for life. Since being in US I have come out of my shell, so to say; I'm much less shy! I've become more independent, and confident in myself and the choices I make. I've learned to meet challenges rather than sweeping them under the rug, and not to judge things by their first impression, which I didn't necessarily do before my exchange.
