Based on the excerpt by Tim Callahan, George Adamski met an extraterrestrial while leading two women and two couples through the California desert on the night of November 20, 1952. He told the group to stay where they stopped so he could encounter an alien. Mr. Adamski walked back to the group proclaiming to have met an alien named Orthon. Research has been done on multiple planets. Some of them can support life because they have the necessary needs, such as oxygen and water. An example of a sustainable planet is Proxima Centauri. It is similar to the mass of Earth. A water source is currently unknown, however it is only 4 light years away. Another example planet is Wolf 1061. “The second planet in tgis star’s solar system is the next-closest to Earth-ish-sized planet in a habitable zone, after Proxima b”(Scoles). It is currently 14 light years away. Finally, the last planet is called G7 667. “A mere 22 light-years away, this solar system has three super-Earth planets---between Earth’s and Uranus’ mass---in the habitable
