Aliens… U.F.O’s….. Area 51 is located in the Nevada desert and is owned by the U.S Air Force and Government, it was used in the Cold War, WWII and even in the Vietnam war; around 25 miles long it is the largest Air Force Base in U.S History and the most secure! It is believed that conspiracies theories (which has not yet been confirmed) think that Aliens and U.F.O’s live there!

Secondly Area 51 was used in WWII for “Stealth and Target” training and experimenting with a highly intense project against the German and Russian government to avoid enemy radar. They would make state of the art stealth planes to avoid Russian and German radars which could reach heights up to 90,000ft! On a morning when all radars were down a Russian Drone took pictures of Area 51; at that time the U.S government were working on a top secret plane and decided to leave the plane outside it’s bunker; the Russians almost got an Idea of what the U.S were working on! They would name their projects (So its harder to encrypt) such as “Have Blue” “Oxcart!”

This was both an exercise in psychological warfare, testing the limits of Soviet radar detection and a demonstration of the US’s military capabilities. PSYOPS thus heightened the Soviet fear, and has been argued as a primary reason for the establishment of Operation Ryan. Other events that deteriorated relations further between the US and USSR was the shooting down of Korean Arilines Flight 007 in mid 1983, a commercial aircraft that the Soviets believed was actually a US measurement and spatial (MASINT) spy plane, as well as Reagan’s establishment of the Strategic Defense Initiative, which the USSR perceived as furthering the “space race.” The events listed previously all aid in understanding the Soviet response to Able Archer.…

Area 51 is, by far, one of the most secretive places in the world, but what could it be that the government wants to hide? The idea of the government keeping information away from the public isn’t exactly far-fetched, but to dedicate an entire facility to it is somewhat unsettling. Some of what has been created here has been revealed to the public, such as the U-2 Spy Plane. The Area is notorious for having many conspiracies against it, but what catalyzed that was the infamous “Roswell Incident”. The Roswell Incident happened in early July, 1947.…

Not only were we unable to sneak into Soviet air-space without getting caught but President Eisenhower also had tried to deny it at first ("Cold War Crises in the 1960s.”). However, because the Soviet Union took the aircraft and its pilot, Francis Gary Powers, as evidence, Eisenhower later had to confess to this mission but refused to apologize for it. The downing of this American spy plane by the Soviet Union in 1960 made the country feel defeated once again. This aircraft was a key component in the arsenal of the United States. It was supposed to gather information about the missile capability of the Soviet Union to put us ahead in the war effort but instead backfired and put us further behind.…

Of course it was all secret, though. The U.S quarantine of incoming ships is how containment was demonstrated but very poorly at that. The best example of containment is either the Truman Doctrine or the Berlin Airlift but I put all my confidence in the Berlin Airlift since it was literally a life or death situation and the Germans were counting on the U.S to bring them food and other necessary supplies. All the Truman Doctrine did was declare that the United States would “support free peoples” who were being threatened by communists.…
