In this case study, the main aim is to know deeper about a day in the life of a bank manager, Marjorie Wong-Gillmore. To know more in details about the day-to-day running of the business activities by each of the parties who are involved in the operation such as bank manager, employees and their management. It also involves to know more in details about Wong-Gillmore’s busy daily routines, relationship with her staff members, her customer and as well as outsiders. Furthermore it discusses the managerial roles played by her, her technical, conceptual, human skills, her managerial work agendas and methods. In here, it also gives a brief description on how Wong-Gillmore arrange her schedule nicely and use up her time wisely, applying her knowledge and skills on every single part of the management process that need to be handled with professional bodies. In this case study only two types of roles will be used that is both leader and liaison. Since, Wong-Gillmore has a relationship with her staff people and coaching them. She plays the role of a liaison (maintains information links both inside and outside an organization via email, phone calls and meetings). Therefore, since keeps a network of relationships with people outside the bank and as well keep the relationship with her customers and it involves the relationships she has kept with different people outside the bank in order to run her bank business effectively. She keeps a contact with her customers, local CPA firms and different business clients. However Wong-Gillmore also does act as a leader (directs and motivates subordinates; guides and communicate with subordinates).
