My draft here:

Mr. Pronstar passed out our test. When Alice Runner received her test Mr.pornstar said pleased, “ Ace as expected Ms.Runner.” Alice’s face curled into a giant grin. “On the other hand NAME” Mr. pornstar said while slapping my paper on the desk and looking down on me . The giant read “F” stood out so much that the whole class giggled at the sight. One year ago I stood in amazement at the sight of my new home. pornstar, a school for witches and wizards. I have always been fantasized by the gold lining on the walls and the shimmering decor. I can’t even begin to imagine how much money is in just one room. Even since last year i can’t even wield a simple magic spell. I have never even gotten close to getting above a C+ on one test. I'm always the worst of the class. But one day i will prove them all wrong. Whenever I get frustrated I like to go to the library. I enjoy reading about the past witches and wizards. I have a special spot i like to sit. It’s a spot right in front of a window that overlooks the castle’s garden. Some days i just it there gazing at the roses simer in the morning dew as the sun rises. The library is lined with book from top to bottom, with 10000’s of years worth of knowledge.

My eye traled off to a sign that read “RESTRICTED” I stopped. “Come” it demanded, I continued to pursue the light. Unaware the the library was no longer, the room looked as if in had not been cleaned in years. Cobwebs filled every nook and cranny and dust covered everything. Discuss an accomplishment or event, formal or informal, that marked your transition from childhood to adulthood within your culture, community, or family. The tale is just as enchanting as I recall, but this time through the story, the magic I appreciate most is not found in the pages of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.…

It is dark. It always is. My mind, like the hell-lit cave, is ignorant to life outside of darkness. I see mere shapes and speak but madness; the language I had once known as meaningless as a singular grain of sand on a sprawling shore. Life is but a farce, a fable constructed by the imagination of others.…

5,000 miles from our island home, we were catching the bus to a museum. We already visited war memorials and such, but today we were scheduled to see what would be the most impactful place of the trip. The overall energy of our group was rather low. As well as being tired we were dreading the emotional blow to come. Although we never covered the Holocaust in class, we all had a cursory understanding of what happened and therefore were unsure how well we would handle this museum.…

Like most of us, I love reading before I go to sleep. I have inherited the taste for gothic novels and creepy mystery tales from my grandfather, who was a passionate reader. He used to read me classic horror stories from Edgar Allan Poe, amongst other writers. One night, I was reading in bed as usual, when I heard a strange noise outside. I got up and looked out of the window.…

When I first read the title of the movie, I did not think that it was going to be about Alzheimer disease. “Still Alice” appears to be a positive movie title. Consequently, I thought that the movie would be based on something positive. While I watched the movie, I learned that the character is facing the hardship of a rare disease (familial Alzheimer’s disease). The biggest question if whether the character is still Alice because of the changes that she is going through with her disease.…

Was there ever a time you didn’t like to do something, but as you got older you started to love it more than you did as a child? When I was younger, I never liked to read, but now as I have gotten older, I read more and more different kinds of books and novels. My mother put my sister and me into a reading program in elementary school because our reading levels were lower than they should be. There were no criteria so we read books that were interesting to us, like the Given Tree by Shel Silverstein and Charlotte’s Web by E. B. White. When we finished reading them we would go around and talk about the book we read.…
