Alice Cooper once said “Drinking beer is easy. Trashing your hotel room is easy. But being a Christian, that’s a tough call. That’s real rebellion.” Alice Cooper put what every Christian struggles with all into one quote. Many events, people, or even ideas open doors for Christians to doubt and sometimes rebel against their own beliefs. The impact these doubts give Christians is something exhausting to work through on their own. I agree with Alice Cooper’s quote that being a Christian is tough, especially in today’s society. Examples being, tragedies occurring in our world today. Christian religions are blamed and the followers rebel against their beliefs. Also, how strenuous it is to speak up for our beliefs in Christianity. Lastly, the many stereotypes of Christianity. Having people question your belief definitely makes you rebel against your beliefs and causes many after effects. The world we live in is a very different one than just a couple of years ago. With the tragedies occurring in our world today, many Christian religions are blamed. Followers then rebel against their beliefs in order to fit in, and make sure they are not criticized for standing up for their beliefs. Christians are picked apart for little things, many Christians drink and supposedly we are not allowed to. So when people in society catch a Christian drinking it suddenly becomes an enormous deal.
