Alibi Monologue

Decent Essays
When I saw you long before, I was awe-struck by you. You're not handsome but there's something in you that made me never look away.

As time passed, we became friends and at that time, you made me fall more. This wasn't my plan and I never expect this to happen.

Time comes and you asked me for a date. Honestly, I don't know how to respond, so I change the topic and made some alibi's. To tell you honestly, I want to say YES to your offer but there's a lot of what if's in my mind.

What if you won't accept me? What about my flaws? What about my appearance and all??? Yes, yes.. all of these thoughts lingered my mind. That's why I wasn't able to treat your offer exactly as what it should be.
