Teo is Alexos’s younger brother who absolutely loves Alexos. He is eight years younger than him but is very kind and understanding of everything around him. I decided to choose this book for my book project because I saw that it was a new book in the school library. I didn’t quite have a book to read, so I picked it up and read the back. I wasn’t quite sure about it at first, but I didn’t have time to think. I checked it out and, to my surprise, I really enjoyed it. I basically went in blind and I’m glad I did. There were many twists that I didn’t expect and the characters were just very enjoyable to read about. My favourite scene from this book was when Teo and Alexos were reunited again. Though Teo did hate him for a good while and kicked him down in anger, they were able to overlook Alexos’s wrongdoings and become great brothers again. I enjoyed this book even though I found some flaws in the writing, such as rushing the ending and pushing the moral too much. Then again, these things could have been a writing choice and could be Diane Stanley’s writing style. I did enjoy reading about the drama and adventure this story conveyed through its plot and I hope to read another book
