Then later on more places due to the stretch of scenes and time periods. The main character’s are obviously dogs. But sadly the truth is it all comes down to a couple of dogs remaining by the end of the book. The novel has everything you expect from an ENG3U course. It's got drama. It's got the corny jokes that teachers will only get, and most of all it gives us a good in depth analysis of the themes and views of characters throughout the the novel. This story is different but very much similar to today's average teenager. Throughout the story most of the dogs are forced to live and experience new things much like teenagers experience new levels in school and higher expectations.The characters also experience depression throughout the novel due to lack of support or depression because of bullying. Andre uses his childhood experiences throughout his novels. He expresses his life through his teenage experience and watching other creators movies. Andre expressed that most of the story was inspired through his childhood of watching movies.
