Alexa's Case Study Exercise Analysis

This Semester I worked with Caitlin and Alexa, I got to know Alexa not only as a very good friend, but I also got to know her on a personal level on regards of her health. Alexa is a Collegiate volleyball player at Capital university. She is a twenty-year-old female, she is 165.1 Cm and 61.4 Kg. Alexa’s current level of physical activity is very good, she plays volleyball all year round, lifts three times a week, and runs twice a week. Alexa’s vitals were also very good. Her resting heart rate is 59bpm, and her resting blood pressure is 122/70mmHg. Alexa is very lean, during this semester in test measures I was able to find her body composition and her body fat percentage. Alexa measures 16.67 mm in her triceps, 7.67 mm in chest, 16.33 mm in Midaxillary, 28.33 mm in Suprailiac, 22.0 mm in abdomen, 16.33 mm in sub scapular, and 30 mm in thigh. These measurements were calculated to find Alexa having 5.38 percent body fat. …show more content…
During this semester, we did special test, I found out that Alexa’s VO2 max is 42.83 by having per preform the Submaximal Aerobic Power Tests – Cooper Run or Rockport Walk. Her by doing the calculation for Maximal Anaerobic Power Tests – Anaerobic Stepping I found that her absolute mean power was average and her relative mean power was below average. We also measured lactate threshold and Alexa had a measurement of 10.6
