Alexander The Great: Why Alexander Isn T Great?

At a young age Alexander took control of the Macedonians, while people thought he was going to be great. Many believe that Alexander is not great. In fact, people all him Alexander of Macedonia because Alexander did not treat the people he conquered. Yes, Alexander was not great, and lacked concern for others, but Alexander is great because of his remarkable achievements in his short life period, and Alexander did have concern for others because he did care for his people. Alexander, the son of King Philip of Macedonia. Was born in 356 B.C.E. more than 300 years before Jesus of Nazareth. Alexander grew up to do great and amazing things, and Alexander received the title “Great”. But sadly all life has to come to a stop. Alexander was hurt from battle wounds, and retreated back to Babylon, but he died there in June of 323 B.C.E. An example that Alexander is not great is when Alexander was conquering land for his empire, he didn't stop to think about the people who lives there. In the map Alexander's Empire, Doc A. Its understood that while Alexander was conquering, he didn't stop to think about the people who lived there, all of the cities he took over and didn't stop to think about the people who lived in those cities. Alexander is great because he cares for people who can't protect themselves. An example of this is when Alexander was battling, there were some people who didn’t want to fight, and Alexander brought them to safety. In the paragraph, while Alexander was battling.
