Alexander the great was indeed great in my opinion. Greatness in the era he lived in, to me, means he built his kingdom and expanded it, and he gained respect for his power and influenced others around him. He made people fear him and took over quite a few places within his life which expanded his empire. People such as the Egyptians prove my point. Egyptians treated Alexander the Great as if he were a pharoah and adopted his culture.
