Daughter of Alexander Giovanni and Michaela Quinn, born in Seattle, Washington but raised in a small town just outside of Los Angeles, California by her father. Alexander won custody of Lehane when she was just a baby after Michaela tried to give her up for adoption. Michaela won custody of their 3-year-old son (Grant Gustin). (-- removed HTML --)
Alexander filed for divorce shortly after and moved Lehane, and himself to Little Rock, California. There he did his best to raise her until she was 12 and they moved back to Seattle, Washington; the place that Alexander knew that he could give Lehane a better education and life just like he had growing up, and he wanted Lehane to get to know her brother

Lehane loved that her father was around more often, but it also made her resent her father for not chasing after what he wanted. After high school, Lehane moved to Boston. There she attended Brown University, where she majored in Criminal Justice after college she moved to New York. (-- removed HTML --)
Moving to New York was a bold move for Lehane there she met Chris W. Who became not only her first boyfriend but also the love of her life. Chris W, an undercover cop for the NYPD or that was until he met her. That was when he blew his cover and was demoted to beat cop who did what he could to keep her safe, but it didn't always work. Lehane had a way of getting herself into trouble. Though this time it was different he couldn't get her out of it. (-- removed HTML --)
After Chris broke up with Lehane, she moved back to Boston where she returned to Brown University and began her steps to getting her life back on track. Six months had passed when Lehane had planned on going home to visit her father and brother who both worked for the Seattle P.D. The night she was supposed to leave her flight got canceled.
