I found this scene to be the most interesting because I was not entirely aware of this and had misunderstood it in the past. The actors went through lengthy detail of the assumption plan which was created to strengthen the United States and to obtain more financial credit. Alexander Hamilton’s goal was to create a strong national government which entailed of combining all states to create a central government. There were many actors who disagreed with Hamilton’s plan because it entailed of paying back all the money owed, as well as interest.
