I chose Alexander Hamilton as the topic for my pathfinder. The resources included deal with his life, his contributions to America, and his writings. Alexander Hamilton Exhibition site - http://www.alexanderhamiltonexhibition.org The website alexanderhamiltonexhibition.org was created by the New York Historical Society for the Alexander Hamilton Exhibition that ended in 2005. The site is still available and a good source for information on Alexander Hamilton. The site includes a virtual tour of the exhibition. It also highlights Hamilton’s experiences in New York and New Jersey and has a section for unpublished documents regarding Hamilton. The site has many different facets to explore to learn more about Hamilton. The entire site is about his life and things pertaining to him. Journal of American History Journal of American History is a peer reviewed scholarly journal that covers American history. UT has access to the full text of all articles from March 1983 to current, with a 12-month delay for the articles. UT also has access to some articles all the way back to 1964. The articles include essays and a number of types of reviews such as films and books. Because it includes all facets of American History, Alexander Hamilton is one of the topics that get covered. The database also lists books pertaining to American history such as Founding Fathers & the Place of Religion in America.” The database also focuses on other aspects of American life such as literature and political science.
