Alexa Kinder: A Short Story

On a mystery Island that scientist have not explored or discovered yet. On that Island there were 901 white chinese people. As the population grew, a new baby was born her name was Alexa Kinder. She was born in her mother's bedroom in 2008 April 12th. Several years later when Alexa was 6 years old and her grandfather was 78 years old it was New Year's Eve and everybody was getting ready for it. Her mother was baking spaghetti (for a long life). Her dad was mixing up a salad and her grandma was sewing outfits for the family to wear. Alexa was setting up the table with her Grandpa. Her aunt was making the sides, and her Uncle was making the desert. Finally the family was finished with the hard work the got dressed and went through the complicated …show more content…
When she got out of her room she went out for breakfast. On a Saturday only she made toast and dumpling for herself. As she ate her breakfast she was still daydreaming on her best day ever. Then she ran outside, her jaw dropped when she saw the sight. There was nobody outside, as there usually were people. She just stood worried she was so sad of where her family went. Her grandpa ran outside he was surprised too. Willie muttered “let's go inside Alexa.” Grandpa willie was tall skinny man who had wrinkles on his face. Alexa asked”where are we going?” “We are going to go on an adventure explained while to save all the villagers. As they approached a shimmering blue lake, a brown canoe came up to the surface level so Grandpa Willie and Alexa could get in it. “Let us go west”yelled Wille. Alexa knew that this lake had magic to carry the boat across by itself. On the other side of the lake was more like a jungle because it had monkey and birds tigers. The grass was really great and strong by all the water it was getting. They walked slowly so they did not disturb any animals. Camping that night was on the ground, and getting food from the magical lake. It was like a blink from night to day ‘cause they were so tired. As they kept walking after they ate Alexa had strange feeling in her tummy that her parents were eaten by some creature. When she told grandpa then he said”it is just a mixed emotions from what I told you.” Then Alexa kept daydreaming on what could have happened to her mom and dad. Truly she felt scared on the inside and tough on the outside. The trip was getting boring until she heard something rumbling and… IT WAS A WATERFALL!! It was shimmering purple pink and blue and that was real magic. The problem was that there was no way up.
