1.0 SUMMARY

Paragraph 1 - Sum up the main information in each of the sections in the report’s body

The reports body looks at what sub-routines or what skill acquisitions affect Alex’s performance in the skill of dribbling. Highlighting these, show us what exactly we need to work on in order to improve his dribble the most. Also in the body the levels of skill are investigated and anaylised against Alex, showing his level of skill and his goal by the end. Also the factors that may affect this are investigated and compared with research to see why he may sit at the level he does. Finally, I anaylise why I used the drill I did and whether it helped to improve Alex’s dribbling in the game of Basketball.

Paragraph 2 – Sum up the main information in the conclusion and recommendations

In the conclusion I look at how alex developed using the drill and what skill acquisitions improved due to the drill. I also look at where alex sits now in terms of his level of skill. And whether he is in the assosicative stage. Finally, recommendations

Basketball is a game that has been around for decades and is made up of many different skills and in order to obtain a high level of skill in basketball you must have a good understanding of basketball and be able to perform these skills effectively. Year 11 PE students have studied basketball for the last term and specific gameplay throughout. They have been put with the task of selecting a student and anaylising there weakest basketball skill. Then designing a training program and drill to develop this.
