Alex Libby: A Teenage Activist

Teenage activists are very important in this world. Who else would teach people lessons about bullying, recycling, saving animals, and more? There are many courageous teenagers who stand up for what they believe in and teach people what is right, and we can be like them. Three of these fearless people’s names are Alex Libby, Alex Lin, and Jeromy Rodriguez.

ALEX LIBBY

Alex Libby is a very brave teenage activist because he fought for people being bullied. Alex did what it took to be a teen activist. He wanted to tell people to stand up for themselves and speak up when they are getting bullied, because, he didn't want anyone to experience what he had experienced his whole life.until 6th grade. This inspired many people. According weebly.com, Alex had a teacher that had a similar life to Alex when he was younger so him and his teacher decided to start a documentary called, “Bully” to show people to stand up for themselves so they don't have to have a scary childhood like Alex did. In fact, he began to get even more famous for standing up for himself. He began to win many awards, and he even got to meet the president and have a chat with a Miss Beauty Pageant. Jeromy Rodriguez and Alex Libby were very similar because they were both very passionate about stopping bullying. But, Jeromy has a whole different story. These two people show how important it is to stand up for yourselves and to speak up for what you believe in. For instance, according to, Newsday.co.tt, something that determined Jeromy was watching his sister, Vicky, suffer the challenge of being bullied. He loved his sister and could bare watching her get bullied any longer. He had to do something about it, he wanted to make a difference in his own way. Instead of passing a bill, Jeromy wrote songs, became a television star, and had his own anti bullying campaigns.
