I have been requested by Alena Shestyuk to write a letter of support. It is with great pleasure and pride that I write this letter. I have known Alena for the past three years and had the distinct pleasure of having her as a member of my Honors Algebra II and Honors Precalculus classes. This long acquaintance has given me the opportunity to watch her mature into a gracious, charming, and responsible young woman.

Alena is a highly motivated student who is excelling in school. The value she places on education is evident in her exemplary work. She has a superior aptitude for mathematics, grasping concepts quickly and easily and requiring little assistance. She is always well prepared for class and is an attentive and active participant
