Alejandro Inglemo is a Cuba-born shoe designer. He moved to Miami at a young age and was raised there. Later, in 2005, Alejandro moved to New York to acquire a degree at Parsons School of Design. He started in interior design but switched to follow his shoe designing dream. He picked up this dream from his grandfather who was in the shoemaker and the founder of family company ‘Ingelmo Shoes’. After completing his schooling, Alejandro introduced his first women’s shoes collection in just 2006 and quickly caught the attention of the fashion world. He worked with celebrities such as Mary-Kate Olson and Madonna which helped him to bring in a bigger audience of celebrities and the fashion forward.
