These two didn’t seem to be a deeply thought out as Woody and David but they did have some interesting traits. Kate seemed to be a know-it-all/ pathological liar. She is constantly talking about the past and all the stuff that anyone did as if she remembers it all and knows everything. The scene where she tells the kids that the house that they’re driving by is Ed Peckram’s house is a good example of her not really knowing it all. The house turned out to not be Ed’s and because of her mistake The sons stole a random family’s air compressor and had to sneak back to give it back. An example of her being a possible pathological liar is how she says that every guy in town wanted her and also the facts she spewed about all of the townspeople’s lives. While she really may know all these things and it may feed back into her being a know-it-all, She may be lying about everything in order to make her feel better about herself because she wasn’t important growing up or something similar. Ross doesn’t seem to have anything crazy about him but the movie seems to portray him as the stereotypical more successful brother with being on the news and all
