Alcoholic: A Short Story

From the age of 12, since her mum died of cancer Jade's father has been an alcoholic, he drinks whenever he wants. Jade has been abused more than once by her father, he loses control, he throws beer bottles at her, he hits her and shoves her.

Jade fell pregnant while she was at a party. “Don't worry you can't get pregnant when your drunk” he said. She had a boyfriend at the time he didnt seem very abusive but when she told him he didn’t take it so well. He went into an uncontrollable rage, he grab her and pushed her to the ground, her heart stopped like it had hit a wall. He than grabbed his gun, He looked Jade dead in the eyes “it's all your fault, you have ruined my life so i'm going to ruin yours” he chased her down but she ran, she ran out the door and down the street not looking back. …show more content…
But she had to tell him she couldn't hide the bump much longer, so she said it one night during dinner. She didn't make eye contact, she didn't speak to loud, but as soon as she said it she heard a crash. Jades father had dropped his glass, he was in shock and didn't know what to do so he yelled, he told her she was a disappointment he told her she let him down.
