The relationship between alcohol and domestic violence is a complicated issue in the society these days. Some studies show that alcohol are the main reason of domestic abuse. Alcohol abuse and dependence are related to domestic violence. In reality, someone is relying on consuming alcoholic drinks as an excuse for becoming violent. Alcohol is well on their path to the ‘road of destruction’. In addition, there have been few researches that indicates alcohol as a longitudinally predictive of subsequent domestic violence. (Leonard & Senchak 1996; Leonard & Quigley 1999). Alcohol may leads to parental stress and makes serious physical assault events to occur when someone consume alcoholic drinks in a heavy amount.
