Firstly I wanted to find out what the most common problem is. Drinking seems to be a major issue for young people, and it is highly a cultural problem and there is pressure amongst the people. According to a professor named Michael Farrel from National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC) there is more than a third of the population in Australia that is drinking in a way that is dangerous for the health. Alcohol consumption has also increased in the recent years. Depression also seems to have has a certain connection with alcohol, and a large amount of those of a young age are affected the most, seeing as of their brain still developing.

One of the articles concerning binge drinking had a few examples of solutions that could resolve the situation as in reducing the access to alcohol and make the alcohol more expensive as in increasing taxes. Though from my point of view decreasing the access of alcohol could cause the situation getting worse, increasing taxes could lead to a higher amount of smuggling which also leads to that the nursing garner higher pressure on them, since less pay for the taxes.
