Albinism is referred to a defect of melanin production in the skin. Defects may be inherited and symptoms are very light to whitish skin color, no color in hair and iris of the eye. Albinism is mostly associated to other symptoms including crossed eyes, rapid eye movements, light sensitivity. In cases where there is a history of albinism in the family you can get genetic testing. Unfortunately, there is no treatment or cure for albinism, treatment involves mostly avoiding the sun and using sunscreen when exposed to reduce the risk of a sunburn.
