Scientists are human too. Einstein is seen as a genius, but even a man like him deals with everyday problems like any other person. He had his own set of morals and values. In the film Einstein: The Birth of God’s Equation informs the viewers with a better understanding of how Albert Einstein grew as a person and the impact he had on the field of Physics with his development of God’s Equation. In the article “Physicists Are Philosophers, Too” by Victor J. Stenger, James A. Lindsay, and Peter Boghossian argues that in order for scientist to know how their scientific work will fit into human context, they need to apply philosophy into their work. The film discusses different terms, but in order for the viewers to understand, they had to explain the general definition of the term. By doing so, it allows the viewers to have a better understanding about how the term is relevant to Einstein and his work. For example, the terms “special relativity” and “general relativity” were mentioned, however a general public audience would not know what these terms mean (YouTube). The film sidetrack from the main argument in order to explain what the terms mean. By explaining the terms, the audience will be able to understand why it is important to the argument that is coming up next and how it helps with Einstein’s work. The communication level between the film and its viewers is established by having the film define what these scientific terms are in order for the general audience to understand watch they are …show more content…
By doing so, it allows the viewers to easily follow along on how Albert Einstein grew up and developed his theory. Each of these events led Einstein to successful develop his theory. As the video go through each event, if there are any terms that need explaining in order for viewers to continue to understand, it will explain the terms beforehand. If the events where presented out of order, the film would be very confusing and hard to follow along. Putting the events in chronological orders was the most effective way to present because it allow the viewers to know how each event influenced the next
