A childhood can be a period of time in someone’s life that can define the fate of their future. Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany in 1879, his parents Hermann and Pauline were both polished, working class people. His father ran an electrochemical factory with average success, this was important to Albert because he was able to experience an affluent lifestyle. …show more content…
A lot of Albert Einstein’s fame and success came within a short period of time. In 1905, Einstein was known as the smartest, most knowledgeable person throughout the world. His two major observations were called the theory of relativity and the photoelectric effect, these brought him to such a high status. First, the theory of relativity “is one of the most significant scientific advances of our time” (All About Science). Although this concept was not created by Einstein himself, he made a contribution to demonstrating objects that are moving at a speed close to the speed of light. Einstein proved that objects will move slower and shorten in length when looking at it from earth. The next step that he took on his road to fame was winning the Nobel Peace Prize for the resolution of the photoelectric effect concept. Einstein had been working tirelessly to get the experiment prefect. This gave him nothing but certainty once the paper explaining the theory was published. “Though no one could deny that light behaved as a wave, after Einstein's first paper, it was undeniable that it was also a particle” (Andrew Zimmerman). Einstein’s theories were so thorough that no one in that time period could go against his
