John Brown; a very strong advocate for ending slavery. However, many believe that Brown took his tactics for ending slavery too far, and therefore, classify him as a terrorist. This debate regarding whether John Brown was a terrorist or abolitionist has raged on for centuries, however, there is an abundance of evidence indicative of Brown’s tendency towards terrorism. By analyzing both his raid Harper’s Ferry, as well as the motivations behind this act, one may quickly conclude that John Brown exhibits traits which classify him as a terrorist.…

The smoothie stick has a soft tint and moisturizes lips. The Beauty Crop is cruelty-free.…
In this passage, Schlosser sheds some light on the good in the fast food industry. One is a franchisee, named Dave Feamster. Feamster was once a NHL hockey player who was drafted in 1978 to the Chicago Blackhawks. After getting an injury that was incapable of being healed, he was forced to retire in 1985. He now owns five Little Caesars pizzerias in Pueblo, Colorado.…
1. The contract that we lost was with ourselves. America couldn 't uphold its own contract. American people are suppose to be the good guys and going out of the way to help people to ensure a better life for all. But within the last war, George Packer had realized that America has changed and things are not the way they once were.…
The extraordinary art that is made with precision, color makes it appears to be more of a photographic image than a painting. Indians at Campfire, Yosemite Valley, California has clearly depicted the natural world through the eyes of the artist. It is an effortless representation of nature meeting the eye of the viewer as Hill attempts to capture the passing moment through the use of time and space. Even though he was not born as an artist, it is not hard to believe that he later became a very successful artist.…
Energy independency has now become an international subject, spreading with radical pioneers who seek independence from the local power grid. Henk Rogers reiterates, through his campaign to run his house on solar electricity and amicable quest to ensure Hawaii's electrical independency by 2045, that energy independency is accomplished when an individual or even a community can successfully supply their own energy needs without assistance from the power grid. Through his tenacious aspiration to encourage residents to go off grid, Rogers has inspired countless residents to become energy independent. In doing so, he has prioritized it as his ‘number one’ objective, insistent to reduce carbon emission from combustible fuels. The key factor that lead him to partake of the clean energy movement was perturbing fact that Hawaii’s hallmark coral reefs are perishing in the increasingly acidic ocean.…
“For the male,” said Felatina, gesturing to Blondie, “Exercise and sexual behavior are closely related. The same muscles are used in both activities.” Blondie was blushing deeply as we watched him. He clasped his hands in front of his pelvis, trying to maintain some modesty. “This is why,” she continued, “it is so interesting to watch male physical exercise.”…
Wonderfully delicious, cherry fruit is packed with full of health-benefiting nutrients and unique antioxidants. In fact, cherries’ sweet or sour flavors are both well recommended by doctors and health educators for its nutritious benefits, such as preventing against such dangerous disease like cancer, or help boosting the immune system to combat anything that may harm the body, the list can go on. But often times, when we are buying cherries at a vegetable market, or a supermarket and whatnot, we do not spend time contemplating on the true history of cherries—where are they made? Or by who/whom are they made? Or what kind of labor it took?…
Chris Mintz, a 30 year old military veteran, was shot 7 times by a shooter in Oregon’s Umpqua Community College on October 1, 2015. He is known as an American hero for stepping up and thinking of others rather than himself. He had a six year old son, whose birthday happened to be on that same day, and he decided to try and stop a shooter and risk his own life to save the lives of others. If a shooter were to come into Franklin High School, three different people, id, ego, and superego, each would have different views on what they would do in a school shooting.…

Many times have people made decisions in their lives that resulted in a punishment that may seem just or unjust. Although all carried out for different reasons, people’s crimes result in somewhat similar outcomes. With that said, the circumstances surrounding a crime are conditions that should be considered when sentencing a person in court, but they shouldn't be used as an excuse to mitigate a case down to nothing. In the case of Carl Lee Hailey, I think his mindset is essential to look at and is important enough to take into consideration when charging him for the crimes he committed; it is also essential to keep things lawful and present justice to all.…
When Behl failed to change the locks or retrieve the key from Cerny after he moved out, she satisfied the factors of the relationship between parties and the opportunity to exercise care under the full duty analysis. Behl kicked Cerny out sometime in August 2013 and rented the same apartment to Copeland-Kraft August 30, 2013. Behl did not recall retrieving the key from Cerny. Behl knew that Cerny was violent, as he had pushed her before during an argument. When there is foreseeable criminal activity and the landlord fails to secure the premises, a duty of care is owed.…
In supporting the Andersons, I would never have done what Smith did. Mr. Smith does not have the right to refuse to give service to the Andersons. It is his own private business but he does not have the right to refuse service to anyone he wants to whether it being he doesn’t like them for their race, color, sex, ethnicity and sexuality. Mr. Smiths actions are wrong and therefore not right at all. It isn't morally acceptable.…
When riding in a canoe up the Rifle River, the last thing that anyone would expect would be heavy profanity blasting from a quarter-mile away. However, that was exactly the case for the young family of Michael Smith according to the article “I Swear, What’s the U.S. Coming To?” by Mike Downey, which appeared on page 2 of the Los Angeles Times. Timothy Boomer, after capsizing his canoe from a rock, bellowed obscenities which got him arrested and put to trial from breaking a state law passed in 1897 in Michigan.…
That is true. That is what makes the sacrifice of one’s life so special. It is an ultimate act of selflessness. However, not anything is worth dying for. Because life is such a precious gift, it should only be given up when appropriate.…
